Your sleeping position determines your pillow
The space between your head and mattress differs depending on your sleeping position. A side sleeper needs more height than a back sleeper because the shoulder creates extra distance. A stomach sleeper needs as little height as possible to avoid straining the neck. Always choose your pillow based on how you sleep most nights.

Frequently asked questions about pillows
How do I know which height I need?
The height depends on your sleeping position and shoulder width. Side sleepers need more height than back sleepers. As a rule of thumb, your spine should form a straight horizontal line when you lie on your side. With adjustable Ella pillows, you can adjust the filling until it is exactly right.
What is the difference between the Moon Pillow and the Ergonomic Pillow?
The Moon Pillow has a crescent-shaped cutout that creates special space for the shoulder of side sleepers. The Ergonomic Pillow is a more universally adjustable pillow without that specific cutout — suitable for all sleeping positions.
Which pillow is best for neck pain?

Can I also sleep on my back with a side sleeper pillow?
Yes. For adjustable variants, set the height slightly lower for back sleeping — the spine needs less height when lying on your back than when lying on your side.
At what age can my child use an adult pillow?
From approximately 12 years old. For children aged 2 to 12, we recommend the Ella Children's Pillow 40×60, specially designed for the smaller dimensions of a child's head and neck.
