A point of calm you can hold. Not just for children.
Holding a plush is not something you stop doing at thirty-five because it is no longer considered appropriate. More and more adults use a weighted plush as a regular point of calm — on the sofa in the evening, while falling asleep, or simply on a day that has been too full.
Why adults see this differently
Most weighted plushies on the market are designed for children's rooms: bright colors, large eyes, and a toy-like appearance. Understandable, but it makes them difficult to place somewhere guests will see them.
Our animals were deliberately designed differently. The Scottish Highland cow and the dog are the two adults choose most often — understated, and they look as though they belong on a sofa.
What people use it for
- Calming down before sleep. Holding something heavy helps many people switch from alert to calm.
- Unwinding after a busy day. Especially people who become overstimulated easily use the plush as a regular transition ritual.
- Having something in your hands while worrying. The elephant is popular with people who naturally fidget with something.
- Companionship. People who live alone often mention this as the first reason.
Size and weight
40 cm sitting height and 2 kg. Large enough to really lean against, but not so large that it takes over a spot in your home. You can reduce the weight yourself to 1.75, 1.5, or 1.25 kg by removing pouches from the belly. Read how to choose the right weight.
Plush or blanket for adults?
Many adults choose a plush after being disappointed by a weighted blanket — too warm, too bulky, only useful in bed. A plush is portable, works during the day, and feels less constricting for most people.

| Dino | A little more character, less cutesy |
| Unicorn | Softest manes, also chosen by teenagers and adults |
Frequently asked questions
Is 2 kg enough for an adult?
For most people, yes — with a plush, the weight rests on a small area, so 2 kg feels clearly present. If you want less, remove pouches from the belly.
Do these plushies look childish?
The Highland cow and the dog were intentionally designed with this in mind. Both are most often chosen by adults.
Can I take it with me?
Yes. At 40 cm and 2 kg, it is easy to move between the bed, sofa, and chair.
What is the difference from a weighted blanket?
A blanket lies over you and is mainly for use in bed. A plush is something you hold and can also use during the day.
A weighted plush is a support tool, not a treatment. For persistent complaints, a GP or healthcare provider is the right person to contact.
